Tosques Wine Vats (Catalonia)

Stone wine vats are quite common in Catalonia. However, it is less common to find them near the vineyards. The ones in the photograph are part of the vats of the “Valls del Flequer” (Flequer’s valleys) and it was able to store about 36,000 liters of wine, about 9,000 liters in each one.
