Read MoreLe Castellet Medieval Church (France)
After years visiting and working at “Le circuit du Castellet” (Paul Ricard Circuit), I finally had the opportunity to see this fantastic medieval village with my own eyes. Many people are attracted to the village because of its architectural heritage—it stands as an architectural display of narrow streets dominated by the church and the castle on the peak.
The Church of St. Savior Transfiguration was built in 1030 by the Bishop of Marseilles. It is truly ancient; once inside, you can feel the weight of history bearing down on these austere walls.
